I was born on 5 February 1960 in Alberswil near Willisau into a family of teachers and grew up there together with two sisters in the small village of Alberswil.
I trained as a chef and then did my apprenticeship and travelling years in the Swiss hotel industry, which meant I got to travel all over Switzerland.
I then graduated from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne and the Tourism Management School and completed both programmes with a diploma. I later managed various hotels in Switzerland and abroad and in 2006 I joined the Seeblick as Managing Director.
In spring 2011, after 6 years as manager of the Seeblick, I was able to take over Kurhaus Seeblick AG.
"Not at home and yet at home" is our motto, according to which we want to spoil our guests at the Kurhaus Seeblick.
